SAU launches tender process for provision of assistance with setting up a circular economy approach for Usquare.brussels site

The Urban Development Corporation (SAU) has published a public procurement notice(*) with a view to appointing a specialised service provider to assist it in setting up a circular economy approach for various demolition, construction and conversion operations on the site of the former Fritz Toussaint barracks at the corner of Boulevard Général Jacques and Avenue de la Couronne in Ixelles (Usquare.brussels project).

This four-year single supplier framework agreement will relate in particular to:

  • the drawing up of inventories of materials for the various buildings on the site and for the public space;
  • the development of a reuse strategy for the Usquare.brussels project based on various indicators (environmental, economic, technical), to be applied to different architectural planning processes;
  • the operational implementation and monitoring of the reuse strategy across the Usquare.brussels project.

Tenders must be submitted no later than 27 January 2020 at 11.00 am.

A site visit together with a presentation of the expectations and context of the tender will take place on Thursday 9 January 2020 at 9.00 am.
